The Dingle Peninsula

The setting and inspiration for The Brandon House. I first visited Dingle with my family before the COVID-19 pandemic, several years before I began writing the novel. Later, after I retired and finally sat down to tell George’s story, the peninsula felt like the natural place for him to settle. Its rugged coastline, rich history and vibrant surf culture provided the perfect setting for the adventure that followed.
